John is a sought-after speaker for hair replacement symposiums around the country (2) and has been a faculty member of the American Hair Loss Council (receiving a distinguished service award for his many contributions), an instructor for hair replacement teaching programs throughout the country and has addressed the annual meetings of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons, the World Hair Society Live Workshop and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons (3).

John, was for 10 years, a contributing editor for the National Hair Journal – a quarterly news publication which reports on all types of hair loss, and includes surgical, medical and non surgical options.

As a reporter for the NHJ, John has visited hair restoration facilities all over the country and is widely known by industry professionals.
